Fixed Action
This category is what we term ‘fixed action’.  This is where the the action takes place mostly in a single are like a company seminar, with talking and emphasis on the stage.

Musical Events
Theatre
Talent Shows

Audio and video would be constantly recorded from the stage area and B-roll footage would be taken at the same time from around the room.  This can then be cut with other B-roll, stock footage, animations, motion graphics etc.  All to help tell a story in connection to what’s happening on stage and generate a very exciting video.

They are generally multiple camera projects.  The final video can a 2-minute summary, or a fully detailed account of the footage that runs to any length.  If information and speeches are happening that are really important, then these videos tend be longer.  However, they tend to be simpler to edit and colour as all most of the action is from the same area, with cuts to elsewhere.

The objective of the video should be fully understood before deciding on the final length of the video.
